About the Artist

Originally from California, I have lived in Minnesota for 25 years.  I’m a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, with a B.A. in Art.  I’ve worked as a Commercial Artist, Book Cover Artist, Muralist and Decorative Painter.   I have now returned to my roots and enjoy painting in oils.

My interest is studying the “Master Painters” and discovering their technique of layering paint, which results in a depth of color that is unique to the classic paintings.  I strive to implement those techniques into all of my paintings, both copies and original works.  I hope you find these paintings worthy of your interest.
